Since I started and ended up having to cut Project 365 short, I decided to combine the images I liked best into one post. Looking forward to picking it up again in the new year when life pans out!
It was living in London that really stopped me from learning to drive. I consider learning in London for a while and then my friend took me out in her car and it took us 2 hrs to drive from Hammersmith to Chiswick in rush hour and that kind of sealed the deal for me! Ha!
Thanks, the top is courtesy of Primark circa 2003. Classy!
No way! I have a top that colour from Primark – it must be the same one. I’ve never worn it because I didn’t think it looked quite right on me. I like how it felt. You make it look so much better, that’s why I didn’t recognise it as the same top haha
You’ve got to love Primark, right?
Go for it, I mean if I can pull it off (I am so disproportionate and I can never pull stuff off) then you’ll be no problem. It’s a bit scruffy on me but the colour and comfort are A+.
Off topic, but thanks for commenting. I had your blog bookmarked and then I had to format my computer, so I’d forgotten to re-bookmark it. So your commenting reminded me. Good chance!
I’ll see how I can work it into my wardrobe. I usually play it safe with dark colours
You had my blog bookmarked? Really? Awh, thanks. Didn’t think anybody read it because I have no idea what the purpose of my blog is yet. I think I found yours through Grania and link-hopping! Your photographs are great (and I love the stuff you post on Tumblr, too)
Yes! I really like your blog. I am an AWFUL commenter these days, but I’m trying to get better so don’t take offence if I go for long periods of silent time if I comment at all. I’m rubbish. My problem is I read too many blogs daily. But thank you and it’ll be good to keep on with eachothers blogs! & Hooray for tumblr!
Omg! I will have to keep an eye on you the next time you get into my car and watch out that your inner ‘crazy driver’ doesn’t get out. lol Love the shot and you are doing really well with the driving!
Hey Trish! THANK YOU! Haha, I promise I will be very well behaved! No crazy driving! I’m enjoying it very much — of course, I wouldn’t blog if I didn’t enjoy it. Pete saw the photo and said, “If Trish sees that she won’t let you in her car again!”.
these are really great. don’t think i could commit to taking a self portrait everyday. but it has been a while since i posted one. maybe i’ll try to shoot one in the next few days.
Thank you Bryan, I really love your blog. It was a big inspiration in me starting this. Always look forward to see what you do. Plus, you’re in Austin, my new favourite city. I really want to move there. My boyriend is in Houston, which I also love, but Austin blew me away.
Oh as for lighting I use a Portaflash Lighting Kit with a two stand lighting set (http://www.photoanswers.co.uk/upload/3108/images/Portaflash%20DigitalStudioKit.jpg). I only use it indoors or outdoor if I can hook it up to an extension cord. If I am out in the middle of nowhere, I just use my Nikon SB800 Speedlight – both are excellent.
thanks sarah! austin is a great place. next time you guys are in town, i’ll buy tacos.
i just picked up a set of these: http://www.alienbees.com/b800.html and am trying to get a handle on lighting. i also got a sb900 which i am in love with. now to find more time in the day to experiment with it…
I’ve been putting off learning how to drive for years. Fail to see the point while living in London. Also, I love the colour of your top!
