Retail West. An on-going series of documentary-art photography (6 of 45 images).

(Please read the statement as it explains my intentions and what my reason is for creating such banal and repetitive photographs).

Please keep in mind that the repetitive nature of these images is intentional and works best when viewed as a complete series. The following images are a select few from an on-going series I have been working on sporadically for the past six years. Due to the fact that I will be having a small exhibition of the images I didn’t want to put them all online. In total there are 45 images so far, they are all very similar and repetitive. The reason for the bland repetition is to mirror the subject matter of retail (particularity that of Western retail, where the name partially stems from). I may choose to post some more over the next few weeks.

If you live near or know of a gallery that may be interested in exhibiting these as part of a group exhibition then please get in touch. Additionally, I am selling prints of these images individually in a range of sizes (from postcards costing £5 upward). If you are interested, drop me an email.
