I <3 Apple

So, let me get nerdy for a bit.
Yesterday I bought my very first Mac Book. A Mac Book Pro.
It’s shocking really that I’ve managed to go so long without one as a photographer and photo-editor. I’ve only had the computer for 24 hours and already my entire catalogue of photos look 100% better and I don’t know how I coped before. Granted I did use the Mac’s in the digital suite when I was at University for all my printing, photo editing and general work for projects and exhibitions. I suddenly remember why, even though I’ll always have a soft spot for Windows and the trusty old PC, it’s Apple and the Mac that win in the visual sweepstakes. No doubt about it.

Ooh, now that is NICE! I love the light under the keys. I bought a Macbook just over 3 years ago and it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever bought. Never crashes; very reliable. Although mine is looking a bit grubby now and has cracked around the edges. Character, I suppose!

Yay Sarah, we’re computer twins now
well actually mine should be the granny or something, it’s a tiger.
It’s a total beauty! Is it the 15″ or the 17″?
I bought snow leopard literally the other day, I still have to instal it.
Laptops alone are a bit treacherous when it comes to photo editing, how often do you plan to calibrate the monitor?

Do you use photoshop or lightroom on the mac? I don’t like my macbook pro (so slow it makes my brain bleeeeed) or lightroom, so i prefer to do all my editing on my PC, which i know is reverse of everyone else who takes photos.
