Back.

I am back from my hiatus (unexpectedly earlier than planned). Life is a little bit crazy and busy at the moment, but I am filled with lots of ideas and plans to make this blog a ‘good one’, well, to try and do so anyway. If you have any great ideas of things I could do or what would make this blog worth reading, then please let me know.
I have been getting a lot of emails over the past few weeks and months. I am really, really struggling to take care of them. Lately my personal life is a bit hectic and my internet time is very limited. In that time I usually spend it emailing clients and getting work taken care of. So, besides a few twitter or facebook status updates (which are generally done from my phone as I’m on the go), I have zero time for much else. I like to update this blog to keep friends and family over the world updated to an extent, but individual emails have become impossible to get through. It’s not that I’m mega popular, it’s just that my life is very upside down these days.
In order to lighten the load and make things a bit easier, I’ve gone and joined formspring.me, where from now on, you can ask me questions. So if you want very quick camera advice or just want to know where in London I like to go to eat, just go ahead and ask. I will reply super fast compared to emails. You can still go ahead and email me, but I do warn you that with the way things are for me right now, I might be a bit slow or forgetful. If you want to purchase prints or book me, make sure that you email me as opposed to leaving a comment elsewhere. The business side of things get taken care of first!
Like I said, new and exciting things will be happening soon, so please come back (bookmark me). I didn’t really take many photos at all in Texas, but I might be able to roll out a few that I snapped with the Lomo or the D200, so I’ll try. Thanks.
Did I forget to mention?
My blog is on a hiatus because I’m not about right now. I’m in TX.
Prints are still available for Haiti. Any other enquiries please get in touch, though it will be over a week before I can properly respond.
See y’all (had to) then, in the meantime why not check out http://www.dirtyhems.com It’s my very good friend, here in TX, Katy’s site. I can’t say too much, but she has some great things going on this year with her fashion projects, in the meantime go be entertained by her DIY posts and fabulous writing skills.

Haiti Donations

As everyone knows by now, a few days ago Haiti was devastated by the worst earthquake the country has had in over two centuries. So, for the next few weeks I have chosen to donate 50% of any of my online print sales to two selected charities in aid of the relief effort in Haiti.
So that’s 50% off all print sales between now and February 18th. It is available for ALL prints & at any size or cost. They come printed on high quality, fade resistant, crystal archive paper. Prints are signed, numbered & dated. Framing and/or mounting is available at an additional cost. Please note: Postage & Packaging is separate, but due to the nature of the print sales, P&P prices will be reduced. P&P prices vary internationally.
If you are interested, please send me an email with the details of the photograph you want to buy & what size you wish to purchase it at.
You can also visit my Etsy shop. I plan on listing more images there this week in conjunction with this post once I sort out some technical problems I’m having.
A receipt of your charity donation will be forwarded to you from the registered charity, along with your receipt of purchase. Payments are accepted via paypal, money order, cheque and in some cases, cash. I can also list the item on Etsy at request. Due to the nature of the item refunds can not be given. Special requirements are accepted.
THANK YOU.
Tales of a Bad Blogger….

I know, I know. I haven’t been the best at blogging, I haven’t really been online and I haven’t had much time for personal photography lately. In fact, I haven’t had time for any photography that isn’t for clients lately (and I do plan on drawing up some release forms this year so I can post the best of the client work). I do have a million and one project ideas swirling about, but the winter always leaves me in some kind of creative rut.
The good news is I am back to my creative homeland in the grand old USA, more specifically Texas, in two weeks time. I’m going back to see my boyfriend, who is a Texas native and student at the University of Houston. I am really excited, mostly about seeing my other half and my friends, but also to be back in a landscape that gets my creative ticker going. Despite lots of opportunities, I’ve always failed at photographing Texas so perhaps this will be the change?
I’m going without a computer though, but will have internet access so if you want to get in touch then email me but all print sales will have to wait until I return. When I return I’m taking part in a charity auction at the Financial Times in London. If you know of any rich art lovers who want to spend thousands of pounds on a limited edition print by me then by all means pass on the word. I’ll get more info up here soon. It’ll be really exciting as there are plenty of great names participating and it’s certain to be quite the event.
By the way, please note, if you’re leaving me a comment then please do so on the actual blog. I don’t get as much time these days to check the LJ Feed, so if you comment there it might be a few weeks before I see the comment. Thanks (and sorry for the confusion/inconvenience).
Lackluster January.
Sorry there hasn’t been much blogging from me. I’ve been busy sorting out business for the new year and having trouble getting out if bed thanks to the freezing cold and very snowy weather out there. I’m currently really into iPhone photography right now. There are lots of great photo apps out there an my current favourite is the ‘Hipstamatic’. I feel I may be doomed with gimicky phone photography for this season, so here are some snaps I took around the house….. Back soon.
Found! Mamiya 645 Shot & Scanned.

6×6. 120mm (Mamiya 645) Frame. Scan.
I love when you find old negs or scans you completely forgot about. Found this photo which I took when I was out shooting some documentary photos of ‘The Twelfth’. I should really sift about and see if I have any more. Some quality may have been lost in the scan because I am no longer a student of the University of the Arts (I graduated two years ago this coming summer), so I don’t have access the top quality neg scanners. I do, however, own my own little neg scanner which is fairly decent and I am trying to get more use out of since I treated myself to a little fun 35mm camera from Photojojo over Christmas.
Shop Re-Opened / Snow Photos!

My ETSY store has re-opened, so you can now buy prints of my work at a reasonable price, fast and easy.
If you read this blog and want to buy a print then put “BLOG READER” in the sellers note for 10% off your purchase.
So to re-open the shop I have been putting up some wintery image I shot in the snow. Here are two of those photographs (both available to buy in the ETSY shop)….

More snow photographs to come.
